Egypt Photos & Update

So I made it home in one piece and while it feels good to be back and getting into the routine, Egypt was truly amazing and I look forward to returning in the future. Maybe it won’t be as soon as I would like, but it will happen and hopefully with some family or friends the second time around!

It has been an exciting year for me thus far, and I can’t believe it is already October. For those of you looking for an update on what exactly my plan is, I am going home at Christmas and planning to return to Norway for another semester January – May even though my aunt and uncle are moving to Kuala Lumpur. So if you happen to be in Norway and know of a place I can live for 5 months or less cheaply, please let me know asap 🙂 Thanks. So since I sort of have a deadline living in Scandinavia and will be returning to school next year (I have chosen Duke’s DPT program) I am trying to get all the “living my life” in that I can afford and manage. I am really loving my time in Norway and I have also been able to complete some huge items on my lifelong checklist (including some I didn’t know I had). Since travelling and seeing new things contains many of these items, that’s why so many of you get swamped with my picture uploads on fb and it probably seems like I am doing nothing but gallivanting around the world. I do however have quite a full plate working in between all of that. It just happens that I really love my job and the people I work with so it maybe isn’t as evident that I am busy with that. I’m not sure. Plus I have this ticking clock inside of me, that propels me to want to complete many things before I start a very full time 3 year program at Duke. So even though it seems like I am doing a lot now, it has a lot to do with the fact that I will be very focused on my studies for 3 years and I am trying to make up for it in advance. Additionally, I have very specific interests for my program that combine dance and physiotherapy to help impoverished youth worldwide. The more I see and do and experience first hand in communities I am hoping to help, or learning more about the tools I will need, how different cultures work, how their governments work, what people respond to and need, etc, etc- the more I make sense of how I can make a difference. So it is all part of a master plan, BUT I still got to take some very fun and awesome pictures of one of my favorite trips yet! Here you go: (Updated Link – was down for a while, sorry!!)
